This large disc music box was designed and supervised by KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN, led by world-renowned industrial designer Kiyoyuki Okuyama.
Its name, “KAIROS,” comes from the Greek word for “time,” symbolizing a qualitative moment—an irreplaceable, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
It was named with the hope that the time you share with this music box will create truly special moments.

While following traditional music box manufacturing methods rooted in classical woodworking techniques, the structure has been rationally designed from the ground up.
Materials and forms are carefully selected to achieve high design precision, while the final finishing is meticulously carried out by skilled artisans.
